A kebab you don’t need to be drunk to eat! This recipe is about 540 calories and fit 1 you will need:
—- for simple tabouleh —-
– 1/2 a small tomato, seeds removed and finely diced
– 1 tablespoon bulgur, couscous or quinoa
– 4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
– Juice from half a lemon
– Salt to taste
— Garlic yoghurt sauce —
– 1 small garlic clove finely diced
– 1 tablespoon Greek yoghurt
— Kebab —
– 1 rump steak
– 1 teaspoon olive oil
– Lettuce sliced
– 1 small tomato sliced
– 1 Lebanese bread wrap
Mix all the tabouleh ingredients and set aside. Mix garlic sauce ingredients and set aside. Heat a fry pan to cook the rump. Coat rump on the oil and then place into the hot pan. Cook as per preference. I did 3 mins each side. Set aside to rest cut a few mins then finely slice.
Time to put the Kebab together. Place garlic sauce on the Lebanese bread, then add the steak, tabouleh, tomatoes and lettuce. Roll up and is desired place on the hot pan to toast. Serve. I’ll leave it up to you if you want to add sour cream, BBQ sauce etc haha.
